Michigan Leads the Nation Cleaning Up the Countryside
LIVONIA, Mich., June 20 PRNewswire — The Encore "T2" Recovery Vehicle will begin munching tires on June 21, 2007. The revolutionary approach to scrap tire management will launch with an inspirational keynote message by Bobby Kennedy Jr. and attendees of the event will have a chance to win a two year lease of a Ford Escape Hybrid.
Paul Merklinger, President & CEO of Encore, will address the media at a 1:00 p.m. press conference at the corporate headquarter located at 12822 Stark Road in Livonia, MI. Immediately following the press conference the "T2" will launch into action. Tires will be shredded right on site.
Bobby Kennedy Jr. will take the stage at 2:00 p.m. to deliver a message to corporate America about the importance of environmental awareness. He will take questions from the audience and take time to meet and greet those in attendance.
At 4:00 p.m. there will be a program for the public that will include a hands-on demonstration of the "T2" recovery vehicle.
The "Encore Man" Paul Merklinger will deliver his message throughout the day: "The future of scrap tire management begins now."
